Sitting erect in class
A tiny ball chapped
Moving to and fro
A galling fluid started egressing
With a pungent reek
Sullied my skirt and
Urged me to loo
Drop by drop dribbled along my thigh to knee
A voice screamed in my mind
Oh no! from which hole is it coming from?
Some unpronounceable disease? No!
I officially became a woman?
Even the previous one sounded better!
Whom should I say?
How should I react?
Should I grin,
That I am ready to have sex?
Or squeeze my tum for dying in pain?
Sloughing drops grimed my dress and mind
A guy japed at my bemired skirt
As and when I stepped out!
With my head down,
A few drops slopped from my eyes
An anonymous shadow
Appeared behind me saying,
“Chin up and walk!
I’ll help you reach the class”
My smile thanked his boots
Treat her the way
you need your daughter to be treated
She is an ocean of love
If you know not to get drowned in it.
