“Why do you hate me?”
Just because I am a fugly caterpillar?
That you cannot embrace and play with me?
I wish I’m one among you!
Tears sloughing I slumbered on a leaf
Which adapted my presence
As the Sun kissed me
I gawked at my tiny golden wings
Attached across my body..
I couldn’t see how beautiful it was
But assayed to spread out
Killing all my fears
I fell down from the top of the branch
My little quills flapped abruptly to salve me
I flew high
Thinking none could catch me
But life anxiously waits
To prove us wrong in every stage
A guy leaped high
And held one of my wings
“O’gosh! I’m not interested to be in your hand, I squalled!
My pigments leaving trace on his fingers,
“Wow” he said, “Oh no” I hollered
Stamping my foot on his hand
I flipped my hands to get away
“Ow, how beautiful it dances , he said.
Placing me on his mitt
He loved the way I endured
As he came closer
I was flown away by his breath !
Fuck human beings!
Thank god I’m not one among them!
I flee away from the spot.
